December Exhibition - December 11, 2011

My next exhibition is scheduled for Sunday, December 11. It's another group exhibition held at Gallery L'Isle D'Art. The address is 10 rue Carnot, 84800, L'Isle Sur La Sorgue, France. The opening will be held from 3pm-9pm.

Winter Work - October 27, 2011

This winter will largely be spent finishing up a commission for a hotel in l'Isle Sur La Sorgue. It is to be a wall installation in one of the rooms. I have ordered all my materials and begun working. I'm looking forward to seeing the completed work finished and installed.

Upcoming Exhibition - October 9, 2011

The Gallery that represents me in Isle sur la Sorgue is planning the next exhibiton for October 9, 2011. The hours are 3pm-9pm, but the show will be up for a couple of months. The name of the gallery is L'Isle d'Art. The address is 10 Rue Carnot, 84800, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Hope to see you there!

I go for a walk.

It's a crisp Autumn evening. I am walking simply for the pleasure of being here now, in the present moment, with nature.
Images flit in and out of my mind. Many lovely and fleeting things that affect me as I pass by them, or as they pass by me.

I am thinking about the colors, and textures, and history of this environment. It is so alive with beauty that I wonder if I can possibly embody these impressions in a work of art.

Then there is a moment of awe, when one spectacular vision draws all these moments together, and combines them into a unified experience. Suddenly I understand the connection between all things, and I recognize in me the ability to draw upon these connections to make something that is equally alive and integrated, both within itself, and with the region.
